We work with mining and exploration companies on their site so you will be working on-site for 2-weeks at a time then return home for two weeks before starting your next 2-week shift.

Responsibilities and Duties

As the General Helper, you will be responsible for assisting with meal preparation and the cleaning and sanitization of the kitchen, dining room, and other areas. In addition, you will be responsible to do the following:

• Sanitization and cleaning of dishes and kitchen equipment.
• Assisting with serving meals
• Food preparation and portioning
• Assisting in cleaning food prep areas, equipment, and utensils, while strictly adhering to sanitation, food safety, and hygiene guidelines

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience is considered an asset, but not necessary.
• WHIMIS
• Food Safe Training
